How We Pack Orders For Safe Transit
We pack cutters, heat transfer vinyl and accessories so they travel well through courier networks and local collection points. Machines are boxed with protective inner packing, and smaller items are grouped clearly so you can check them quickly on arrival.
Before dispatch, we confirm the contents against your order and check that any loose parts, cables, blades or tools are included. If your order has a machine plus media or spares, they may be packed in more than one carton to reduce movement in transit.
- All parcels are labelled with the order details and contact number
- Fragile items are cushioned for road transport and depot handling
- Accessories are separated so nothing gets scratched or bent
Collection From Kya Sand, Johannesburg
Collection is available from our Kya Sand base for customers in Johannesburg and nearby areas such as Randburg, Sandton, Roodepoort, Midrand and Pretoria East. Collection is useful if you need a machine urgently or want to inspect a parcel before taking it home.
Please wait for confirmation before coming through, as we only release orders that have been checked and made ready for handover. If you are collecting a cutter, bring a suitable vehicle with enough boot space, and if possible, come with someone to help lift heavier cartons.
- Bring your order number and a contact name
- Check collection hours before setting off, especially on month-end traffic days
- If someone else is collecting for you, tell us their full name in advance
Nationwide Delivery Timeframes
We dispatch nationwide across South Africa, including main centres and outlying towns. Delivery times depend on your location, courier load and whether the order contains a machine, consumables or spare parts.
As a guide, major metro areas usually move faster than remote routes. Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas often arrive sooner, while coastal and outlying destinations may take a little longer. Weather, road delays and public holidays can also affect timing, so we always recommend allowing extra time if you have a project deadline.
- Metro deliveries are generally quicker than regional routes
- Outlying areas can take an extra day or two
- Courier delays can happen during peak periods and load-shedding schedules
What You Need To Do Before Dispatch
To avoid delays, make sure your delivery address, contact number and message are correct before we send the parcel out. Courier drivers often need someone to answer the phone, especially in industrial areas, estates or places with restricted access.
If your order is going to a home address, consider whether there is safe space for a carton to be left. For business deliveries, tell us the company name, receiving hours and any gate or security instructions. This helps prevent a missed delivery and the back-and-forth that can slow things down.
- Give a clear street address with suburb and postcode
- Include a working mobile number for courier updates
- Let us know about access rules, security counters or delivery cut-off times
Bulky Items, Workshop Orders And Split Deliveries
Some orders travel best in separate parcels, especially when a cutter is shipped with vinyl rolls, heat transfer sheets or workshop consumables. Splitting items can reduce the chance of damage and make it easier for you to unpack and start working sooner.
If you are buying for a small business, please plan for space at delivery. A desktop cutter box, spare blades and a roll pack can take up more room than expected. In some cases the courier may ask for a signature on delivery, so make sure someone is available during the day.
- Large or mixed orders may be sent in more than one parcel
- Keep the cartons until you have checked the machine and accessories
- Tell us if you need separate delivery for different items
If A Parcel Is Delayed Or Arrives Damaged
When your parcel is delivered, inspect the carton before you throw away any packaging. If the carton is damaged, take clear photos before opening it and keep the packing material. This is important for courier claims and for checking whether any item needs attention.
If a delivery is late, first confirm the tracking update and check whether the driver tried to call you. If you still cannot locate the parcel, contact us with your order number and we will help follow it up. For damaged machines, do not power them on until we have reviewed the issue, as that can make the fault harder to assess.
- Photograph the outer carton before and after opening
- Keep all packaging until the order is fully checked
- Report shortages or damage as soon as possible, preferably the same day
